How recent must a document equivalent to a foreign criminal record extract be?

The document must not be more than 3 months old on the date the application is submitted.

When submitting a new application while the current reliability certificate is still valid, it is possible, under the conditions laid down by law, to refer to criminal record extracts submitted with the previous application, provided that you have not since stayed abroad continuously for more than 6 months.
