Language proficiency endorsement

An applicant who does not agree with the result of the English language proficiency assessment in accordance with FCL.055 has the right to appeal the result. Appeals must be submitted in writing through the language-testing body. First, the appeal will be reviewed within the organisation by an independent examiner who was not involved in the original assessment. If the applicant does not agree with the outcome of this review, a further appeal may be submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority through the organisation. In such cases, the organisation will forward the examination records and all related assessments to the CAA.
