When do I need to provide a document equivalent to an extract from the criminal record of another country?

If you are a foreign national, you must provide such a document from the country of which you are a national.

You must also provide such a document if, during the 5 years preceding the submission of the application, you stayed outside the Czech Republic continuously for more than 6 months. In such a case, the document must be issued by the country in which you stayed.

For Czech nationals, this requirement applies only to stays outside the European Union or the United Kingdom.
