Approval Process for the Operation of Foreign Aircraft with a Special Category of Airworthiness within the Airspace of the Czech Republic

Non-commercial overflights of aircraft across the airspace of the Czech Republic are categorized as follows:

• Overflights conducted by aircraft with a standard Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA)

• Overflights conducted by aircraft with a special category of airworthiness, including landings within the territory of the Czech Republic

• Long-term operation of aircraft with a special category of airworthiness within the Czech Republic

• Operation of foreign ultralight aircraft

• Perfoming of test flights

Non-commercial overflights of foreign aircraft with a special category of airworthiness are described by section GEN 1.2.6 of the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) of the Czech Republic.
