Pursuant to \u00a7 6(2) of Act No. 49\/1997 Coll., on Civil Aviation, which lays down the general framework for the conditions concerning the deletion of an aircraft registration from the Aircraft Register, the Authority hereby informs holders of rights relating to an aircraft registered in the Aircraft Register of the following rules. These rules will be observed by the Authority when carrying out an ex officio deletion and further specify the general provisions contained in the Civil Aviation Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An aircraft registration will be deleted ex officio in the following cases:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. destruction of the aircraft (i.e. where the aircraft ceases to exist as an object in the legal sense);<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. the aircraft has been withdrawn from operation for an extended period or permanently;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. more than five years have elapsed since the expiry of the ARC\/OLZ.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Owners and registered operators may contact the Authority with an initiative to delete the registration of an aircraft that meets the above conditions. An initiative to delete an aircraft registration may be submitted by email to podatelna@caa.gov.cz<\/a> .<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The aircraft registration will be deleted only if all holders of rights relating to the aircraft (i.e. the owner, operator and lien creditor) consent to the deletion. They will receive a template consent form together with the notice of commencement of administrative proceedings concerning the deletion of the aircraft registration from the Aircraft Register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Provided that the above conditions are met, the aircraft registration will be deleted from the Aircraft Register ex officio, and therefore without the need to pay an administrative fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The deletion of an aircraft registration from the Aircraft Register at the request of the aircraft owner or operator for any reason other than one of those specified above is not affected by these rules.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
