{"id":55731,"date":"2026-11-02T14:29:00","date_gmt":"2026-11-02T13:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.caa.gov.cz\/?page_id=55731"},"modified":"2026-11-02T14:25:26","modified_gmt":"2026-11-02T13:25:26","slug":"legislation-regarding-the-aircraft-register","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.caa.gov.cz\/en\/basic-information-about-the-aircraft-register-of-the-czech-republic\/legislation-regarding-the-aircraft-register\/","title":{"rendered":"Legislation regarding the Aircraft Register"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below we provide a selection of legal regulations and specific provisions that directly concern the Aircraft Register of the Czech Republic (hereinafter also referred to as the \u201cAircraft Register\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Act No. 49\/1997 Coll.<\/strong> \u2013 <em>the Civil Aviation Act, as amended<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a7 4 in conjunction with \u00a7 99a, defines the Aircraft Register;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a7 5 defines applications for entry in the Aircraft Register;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a7 5a governs liens;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a7 6 governs changes to information in the Aircraft Register and the deletion of an aircraft from the Aircraft Register;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a7 17a et seq. concerns the administration of aircraft addresses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Decree No. 108\/1997 Coll.<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Decree of the Ministry of Transport and Communications implementing Act No. 49\/1997 Coll., on Civil Aviation, as amended<\/em>, in particular \u00a7 1a, which governs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>other basic technical information about an aircraft entered in the Aircraft Register;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>applications for the provisional assignment of a registration mark;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>applications for the entry of an aircraft in the Aircraft Register;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>applications for the registration of a lien.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Act No. 500\/2004 Coll.<\/strong> \u2013 <em>the Administrative Procedure Code<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It regulates the procedures of executive authorities, local self-government authorities and other authorities, as well as legal entities and natural persons, when exercising powers in the area of public administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Act No. 634\/2004 Coll.<\/strong> \u2013 <em>the Act on Administrative Fees<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a7 3 \u2013 Fee payer;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a7 6 \u2013 Payment of the fee;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a7 7 \u2013 Refunds of fees;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a7 8 \u2013 Exemption from fees;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a7 9 \u2013 Fee reduction;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fee schedule, in particular Items 3, 16 and 48.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Regulation L 7<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Aircraft Registration Marks<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It governs, in particular, the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>use of registration marks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>assignment of registration marks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>placement of registration marks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>dimensions of registration marks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>shape of the characters used in registration marks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certificate of Registration  \/ Certificate of Deregistration;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>identification plate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Below we provide a selection of legal regulations and specific provisions that directly concern the Aircraft Register of the Czech Republic (hereinafter also referred to as the \u201cAircraft Register\u201d).
