{"id":23794,"date":"2020-11-18T10:21:48","date_gmt":"2020-11-18T09:21:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.caa.cz\/?page_id=23794"},"modified":"2025-08-14T09:31:32","modified_gmt":"2025-08-14T07:31:32","slug":"high-risk-specialised-commercial-operation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.caa.gov.cz\/en\/flight-operations\/high-risk-specialised-commercial-operation\/","title":{"rendered":"High Risk specialised commercial operation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Definitions<\/strong>: Any commercial specialised aircraft operation carried out over an area where the safety of third parties on the ground is likely to be endangered in the event of an emergency, or, as determined by the competent authority of the place where the operation is conducted, any commercial specialised aircraft operation that, due to its specific nature and the local environment in which it is conducted, poses a high risk, in particular to third parties on the ground. &nbsp;[Commission Regulation (EU) No. 965\/2012]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>Special commercial operations of aircraft which are classified by the Civil Aviation Authority Czech Republic (CAA CZ) as a high risk special commercial operations are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flights over densely built-up areas of cities, towns or setlements, or over an open-air gathering:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>where a safe forced landing cannot be performed; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>where multi-engine aircraft are unable to safely continue to fly after a single engine failure; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>at a height less than specified in SERA.5005 f) of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 923\/2012; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>involving external cargo operations; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>including operation with a helicopter crane.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Towing aircraft and other objects, except towing gliders and banners.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>The operator of the special commercial operation must apply for and obtain a permit from the Civil Aviation Authority before the starting the operation.
