Generally \u2013 regulatory requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From 28 September 2009<\/strong>, continuing airworthiness of aircraft not involved in commercial air transport, the type certificate of which was transferred under EASA responsibility (the type certificate is issued by EASA in accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) No 1702\/2003), will be managed only in accordance with <strong>Annex 1 (Part-M) to Commission Regulation (EC) No 2042\/2003<\/strong>, as amended. Information relating to Regulation (EC) No 2042\/2003 may be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (otev\u0159e se na nov\u00e9 z\u00e1lo\u017ece)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.caa.gov.cz\/dokumenty\/predpisy\/zakladni-informace-k-narizenim-eu\/zachovani-letove-zpusobilosti\/narizeni-komise-es-c-2042-2003\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> (in Czech only) and Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM) to this regulation are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucl.cz\/index.php?clanek=401\">here<\/a> NEPLATN\u00dd LINK (in Czech only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Annex 1 (Part-M) to Commission Regulation (EC) No 2042\/2003 is not applied to aircraft listed in <strong>Annex II to\nRegulation (EC) No 216\/2008 of the European parliament and of the Council<\/strong> (Annex II aircraft). Continuing\nairworthiness of these aircraft is managed only in accordance with national requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">II. Information for aircraft operators\/owners that are holders of an Aerial work approval<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Continuing airworthiness management system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When an operator is approved for commercial operation other than commercial air transport (aerial work), the\noperator shall (in accordance with Part-M (M.A.201(i)(1)):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(a) be appropriately approved, pursuant to M.A. Subpart G, for the management of the continuing airworthiness of the\naircraft the operator operates; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(b) contract such an organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: Contract (agreement) between operator\/owner and M.A. Subpart G organization shall be made in accordance\nwith Appendix I to Part-M.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Continued validity of the Aerial work approval is dependent upon compliance with M.A.201(i)\nrequirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Manuals and documentation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(a) <strong>When an operator is approved under M.A. Subpart G<\/strong>, the operator shall develop following manuals\nand documentation (these manuals and documentation shall be approved by the CAA CZ):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Continuing airworthiness management exposition (CAME) \u2013 in accordance with M.A. 704; and<\/li><li>Maintenance programme<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: In this case CAME substitutes Operator\u2019s maintenance control manual required by the national regulation L\n6\/I (L 6\/III).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(b) <strong>When an operator contracts organization approved under M.A. Subpart G<\/strong>, the operator shall\ndevelop following manuals and documentation (these manuals and documentation shall be approved by the CAA CZ):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Modified maintenance control manual required by the national regulation L 6\/I (L 6\/III).<\/li><li>Maintenance programme<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note 1: \u201eModified maintenance control manual\u201c means that an operator shall establish within the organization a\nperson responsible for ensuring of conformity with agreement between the operator and the M.A. Subpart G organization.\nThe operator shall also develop (or modify) procedures following from the agreement.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note 2: Development and subsequent approval of the maintenance programme is responsibility of the M.A. Subpart G\norganization.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">III. Information for aircraft operators\/owners that are not holders of an Aerial work approval<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Continuing airworthiness management system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuing airworthiness shall be managed in accordance with Part-M.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When an operator is not approved for commercial operation other than commercial air transport (aerial work):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(a) the operator may manage continuing airworthiness of own aircraft (excluding aeroplanes with MTOM of more than\n5700 kg and multi-engined helicopters) under the operator\u2019s own responsibility; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(b) the operator may contract tasks associated with continuing airworthiness management to an approved M.A. Subpart\nG organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: Contract (agreement) between operator\/owner and M.A. Subpart G organization shall be made in accordance\nwith Appendix I to Part-M.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Manuals and documentation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Maintenance programme<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: In accordance with Part-M, M.A.201(e)(i) the operator\/owner may conclude partial contract with approved\nM.A. Subpart-G organization for the development of the maintenance programme. In this case the development and\nsubsequent approval of the maintenance programme is the responsibility of the M.A. Subpart G organization.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IV. Maintenance programme \u2013 additional information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(a) A maintenance programme shall be developed for each aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(b) Maintenance programmes that are currently part of the Operator\u2019s maintenance control manual shall be replaced\nwith individual maintenance programmes developed in accordance with Part-M, M.A.302 after 28th September 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(c) A maintenance programme may be developed for particular aircraft or for group of aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(d) A maintenance programme shall be approved by the CAA CZ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(e) Operator\/owner of an aircraft not involved in commercial air transport may use, for development of the\nmaintenance programme, the following forms of the Technical Division:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>CAA\/F-ST-177-0\/09<\/strong> \u2013 for development of a maintenance programme for a particular aircraft, the\ncontinuing airworthiness of which is not managed by the approved M.A. Subpart-G organization.<\/li><li><strong>CAA\/F-ST-178-0\/09<\/strong> \u2013 for development of a maintenance programme for a particular aircraft, the\ncontinuing airworthiness of which is managed by the approved M.A. Subpart-G organization.<\/li><li><strong>CAAF-ST-179-009<\/strong> \u2013 for development of a maintenance programme for a group of aircraft, the\ncontinuing airworthiness of which is managed by the approved M.A. Subpart-G organization.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: All forms contain instructions for their completion.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All forms of the Technical Division may be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caa.gov.cz\/dokumenty\/formulare\/formulare-sekce-technicke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (otev\u0159e se na nov\u00e9 z\u00e1lo\u017ece)\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">V. Exemptions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When a continuing airworthiness management system or a maintenance programme approved by the CAA CZ in accordance\nwith particular Part-M requirements is not implemented by the operator\/owner after 28th September 2009, the\noperator\/owner may apply to the CAA CZ for an exemption. Such an exemption may be granted for a maximum duration of two\nmonths.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I.
