{"id":19885,"date":"2020-03-17T08:23:22","date_gmt":"2020-03-17T07:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.caa.cz\/?post_type=news&#038;p=19885"},"modified":"2020-03-17T08:22:02","modified_gmt":"2020-03-17T07:22:02","slug":"announcement-for-passengers-cancellation-of-flights-from-the-5th-of-march-2020-until-present","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.caa.gov.cz\/en\/news\/announcement-for-passengers-cancellation-of-flights-from-the-5th-of-march-2020-until-present\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcement for passengers \u2013 cancellation of flights from the 5th of March 2020 until present"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dear passengers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With regards to the cancellations of flights\nfrom the 5th of March until further notice as a consequence of measures adopted\nby the Government of the Czech Republic, we would like to inform you that the\nCAA Czech Republic does not intent to enforce against the air carriers the\ncompensation pursuant to the Article 7 of the Regulation 261\/2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The air carrier is obliged to reimburse the\npassengers, but due to the existence of the extraordinary circumstance, the CAA\nCzech Republic takes the stand that the air carrier is not obliged to pay the\ncompensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We kindly ask the passengers to remain calm. We\nare aware that the customer service of multiple air carriers is not working\nproperly these days, however we recommend that you wait for a few more weeks\nuntil the situation will be settled and then approach the air carrier with your\nrequest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would also like to inform the passengers\nabout the possibility to file their claim with the respective court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":21,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_oasis_is_in_workflow":0,"_oasis_original":0,"_oasis_task_priority":"2normal","footnotes":""},"news_types":[763],"class_list":["post-19885","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry","news_types-english"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
